“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint” (Luke 18:1).
There are many things happening in our world today that call for our insistence in prayer. If we must change things in the direction of God’s purpose and plan, then we must keep interceding for our nations and the environments in which we deal. We must also pray for the leaders of nations.
In 1 Timothy 2:1-3, we are admonished to pray for kings, and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a peaceable and quiet life in all godliness and honesty. This is not something we do once and go to sleep.
