true prophet of God

Starting the year in the right way is very important. From the beginning of the year you can determine how the year is going to wind up – to determine that by the end of the year, God’s glory will be far greater. That’s your responsibility not God’s.

1 Peter 2:9 (KJV, AMPC)

This scripture is talking to us who are born again. When you’re born again you’re brought out of darkness, out of the systems of this world into God’s kingdom, a new environment.

When you’re born again, you receive the life and nature of God. This new life surplants the old. It’s your spirit that’s born again. When you’re born again, you’re brought into the body of Christ and become one with the Saints of Christ.

The Bible is the mirror of the Spirit; it’s God’s mirror. And when you’re born again, you receive the Spirit for the interpretation of the truth in God’s word.

1 Peter 2:9 tells us that we are royalty. The word “shew forth the praises” in the KJV means to constantly display those things that will be praise to God. The AMPC version explains it well as follows;

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

We are imitators of God. You can’t copy God if you don’t know His word. God wants us to set our minds on spiritual things. Therefore, our reasoning must change.

It’s my year of Perfection and I’m going to display the virtues and perfections of Him who called me out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Anger, rage, lying aren’t the virtues of God. God thinks high, novel thoughts and what’s you to display His virtues.

Measure your perfections from God’s viewpoint. That means you should set your goals higher. Don’t allow negative thoughts come to your mind. Refuse to allow or accommodate them. You’re born and full of the Spirit.

Where am I now? In God’s marvelous light; a light that no one can approach unto. No wonder the Bible says that in Him there’s no darkness at all. Glory to God!

Here’s the life that God’s expecting you to live in 2020. This is the picture. No darkness at all in your life; no feeling sorry for yourself; no disliking anyone. This is your calling. As long as you live less than this, you’re not living the life. This is the Christian Life.

Children when they are learning to walk, they start with crawling and after a while start working properly. Some Christians however are still crawling when they should be walking.

This year, you’ve got to keep your sight on the word and walk in perfection.

The Bible says to “…take heed to the word”, to look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith who’s able to keep us from falling.

God’s instructions reveal to you what He thinks about your ability. When God said to Abraham to walk before Him and be perfect, it shows He knows Abraham had the ability.

As the word comes to you, your mind is renewed. God’s word is light and lights every heart. You walk in the light by walking in the word; walking in the light of His justification.

Jesus said, you err because you know not the scriptures. Foundation School is meant to tell you the basics of the word; to build your grounds in the word.

My life in 2020 is to display the virtues and perfections of God!

Ezra 6:14

And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.

Notice that the people prospered through the ministry of the men of God. This tells us the place of the word of God. That’s why you should take out time every week to be in church on service days because as you do your business, you need to be hearing the word to guide and encourage you. This helps to build your spirit strong so you can overcome and win in every and any situation.

In the house of God, He gave offices for the leading and perfecting of the Saints (Ephesians 4:11-12).

Make up your mind in 2020 to start early.

Romans 6:1-10

1. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

2. God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

3. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

4. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

6. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

7. For he that is dead is freed from sin.

8. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

9. Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

10. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

Are we really dead to sin? YES!

Being baptized into Jesus is likened to; when you eat food, it’s digested into your body and isn’t same food again. We became one with Jesus (in Christ); inseparably united with Him (members/limbs of Christ)… Romans 6 is how God sees us.

God created us and when He talks to us we’ve got to know that what He says is truth. God was, is and is to come. This means God can say something into the past to change it and into the future to prepare it.

Romans 6:5 (KJV) is a little misleading with the word “shall be”. “Shall be” is a word used to affirm strongly what will happen (it’s a royal communication of a law); it’s not talking about something that will happen later or tomorrow, it’s already declared into existence.

Verse 8 wasn’t talking about living in Christ in heaven but living with Him now; living in identity with Him.

Knowing that death has no dominion over Christ and so it is with us.

Romans 6:11-12

11. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Let not sin reign in your bodies. God wants us to think like this. You have to make sure in this year that’s it’s God’s plans and purposes that reign/are pursued in your life.

Jesus says what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and looses his soul. From today, make up your mind to live for Jesus Christ because He is the essence of life. He made you and is responsible for your life.
